American Half Quarter Horse Registry Update

7/31/05

The American Half Quarter Horse Registry, in Arizona, has recently merged with the World-Wide Half Quarter Horse Registry, located in Florida. This brings the total number of horses registered, between the two, to over 10,000. The merger adds a great number of horses from France, Germany, Belgium and Canada to the many American horses in the AHQHR data base.

Owners of horses currently registered with the World-Wide Half Quarter Horse Registry will now be able to transfer ownership and register new horses with the American Half quarter Horse Registry.

Horses not currently registered with either registry, must have at least one parent registered with AQHA or APHA to be eligible for registration.

Anyone with questions may call the American Half Quarter Horse Registry at 480-982-1551 or go to the American Half Quarter Horse Registry web site, located at: www.halfquarterhorseregistry.com
